Haflex : shaft mounted or floor mounted split torque reducer

 
 
Presentation
 

The Haflex is a split torque reducer (2 or 4 pinions balanced under load drive the main wheel). Two ways of mounting are possible: shaft mounted (HALFLEX suspended, hollow low speed shaft), or floor mounted (with solid low speed shaft and mounting base).

 

The Haflex enables transmission of high torque at low speed and offers an extremely wide range of ratio.

Technical description
 
 

Major components within
the main housing are:

  • The low speed wheel and its pinions
    (2 or 4),
  • Sometimes a parallel shaft primary reducer on each pinion .

Additional: 2 primary floating bevel reducers connected by means of a sliding universal joint and 2 reaction arms for balance.
